PROFILE

Hajia Annatu Adam Iddriss is a professional teacher. She is currently the Guidance and Counselling /Girl-child coordinator with Ghana Education Service, through the Islamic Education Unit. Hajia Annatu was born on 20th March 1978 in Greater Accra.

She had her basic education certificate in 1997 at Adab Islamic Preparatory school and further went to Accra High School and obtained an SSCE certificate in the year 2000. Hajia Annatu Adam gained admission into Accra College of Education in 2001 and eventually graduated with a 'Teacher Certificate A' in basic education. She taught for some time and later gained admission into the university of Ghana, Legon in 2011 and eventually graduated with Second Class (Upper Division) in Social Work and Sociology in 2015. She later obtained a master’s degree in Guidance and Counselling at the University of Cape Coast in 2019.

Hajia Annatu Adam Iddriss joined Ghana Education Service in 2004 and has since been working with the service to date. She is currently the Financial Secretary of the Ghana Association of Muslim Professionals (GAMP) and also an executive member of Muslim Women in Teaching (MUSWIT).
