PROFILE

Mr. Abdul Rahman is an experienced finance professional with over six years of hands-on experience in financial accounting, particularly within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. He has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to results, with a keen interest in learning and acquiring new knowledge, skills, and experiences that enhance both personal and organizational performance.

Throughout his career, Mr. Rahman has shown a strong orientation towards improving processes and establishing robust financial systems and internal controls. He maintains a professional approach that balances structure with flexibility and encourages innovation in financial operations. His ability to work independently with minimal supervision, combined with his collaborative nature, has made him an effective team player in every role he has undertaken.

Currently serving as the Finance Manager at Daily Food Ltd since April 2023, Mr. Rahman leads the Finance Department in delivering sound financial planning, reporting, and control. Prior to this role, he worked as a Finance Officer at Chidwell Limited, a Free Zone Enterprise, from December 2021 to April 2023, where he supported key accounting functions and contributed to financial strategy and reporting. From September 2017 to August 2018, he was with Olam Ghana Ltd as an Accounts Officer, where he was responsible for day-to-day financial reporting and reconciliation. Earlier in his career, he gained valuable auditing experience during an internship with Beta & Associates, Chartered Accountants, between May and December 2015.

Mr. Rahman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), awarded in May 2017. He is also technologically proficient, with working knowledge of various financial and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Tally, SAP, Xero, and Odoo.
